NDC Bongo Constituency Deputy Communications Officer, Patrick Anamoo, is confident delegates will retain him as he seeks another term, saying his experience within the party’s communication structure can help strengthen the NDC’s chances ahead of the 2028 elections.
Speaking on A1 Radio, Mr Anamoo said he intends to pick and file his nomination form as the party opens nominations.
He appealed to delegates to renew his mandate, arguing that his continued service, coupled with lessons learned from working with party members, positions him to contribute to the NDC’s electoral efforts in 2028.
Mr Anamoo said the party’s communication strategy must go beyond what he described as the “Bongo factor” and focus on the broader NDC agenda at the constituency, regional and national levels.
“You don’t need to bring somebody who can only say the Bongo factor, but of course the NDC factor, nationally, regionally and indeed Bongo,” he said.
He expressed confidence that delegates would give him another opportunity to continue what he described as the good work being done together.
Mr Anamoo is expected to pick and file his nomination as the NDC begins preparations for its internal elections.
