The Upper East Region’s representative in the 2026 Ghana’s Most Beautiful Pageant, Keren Ayinboma Alayine, received a historic and heartwarming welcome when she returned to her alma mater, Bolgatanga Girls’ Senior High School (BOGISS).
Students, teachers, old students and well-wishers turned out in their numbers to celebrate one of their own, thereby filling the school compound with excitement, pride and admiration.
The homecoming created a joyful atmosphere as members of the BOGISS community warmly welcomed Ayinboma (her stage name in the competition) and expressed their support for her journey in the national cultural pageant.
Her visit served as a source of inspiration to many students, especially young girls, reminding them that determination, discipline, hard work, and self-belief can turn dreams into reality.
For many students, seeing a former student represent the Upper East Region on a national platform was a proud moment and a strong motivation to pursue their goals with confidence.
Ayinboma’s journey reflects the potential and talents of many young people in the Upper East Region. Her representation in Ghana’s Most Beautiful 2026 has brought pride not only to BOGISS but also to the entire region.
The overwhelming reception demonstrated the strong support and confidence that students, teachers, and well-wishers have in her ability to make the Upper East Region proud throughout the competition.
As she continues her journey on the national stage, the people of the Upper East Region have assured her of their continuous support and have encouraged her to represent the region with all her might.
In 2025, the Upper East Region representative in the same competition was Asakia, who has started implementing her project in the area of Agriculture, where she is encouraging more young women and school girls to take interest in the Agricultural Value Chain to improve their lives.
The Inter-Schools Agriculture Challenge got many organizations, women groups, and individuals got many residents talking about the impact of Ghana’s Most Beautiful Pageant in the region. It is expected that this will lay a good foundation to attract support for Ayineboma.
