The race for the maiden 2026 X1 Division One League (DOL) Super Cup has officially begun, with eight of Division One clubs drawn into two competitive groups ahead of the tournament in Obuasi.
The group-stage draw, conducted after a meeting involving the Ghana Football Association (GFA) Competitions Department, the DOL Super Cup Committee and representatives of the participating clubs, has set the stage for an exciting football spectacle at the Len Clay Stadium.
Group A brings together Debibi United FC, Port City FC, Cape Coast Ebusua Dwarfs FC and Attram De Visser FC in what promises to be a tightly contested battle for qualification to the knockout stage.
The group features a blend of experienced Division One campaigners and ambitious clubs eager to make a statement on the national stage as they prepare for the upcoming league season.
Meanwhile, Group B presents another challenging contest, with FC AshantiGold 04, Tamale City FC, Semper Fi FC and Nsuopon Fidelity FC set to compete for the two available semi-final slots.
The tournament, designed to showcase the strength and competitiveness of Ghana’s second-tier football, will provide clubs with an opportunity to test their readiness, build squad confidence and compete for early-season honours.
