The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has issued a final warning to Premier League clubs to complete their licensing applications on the Club Licensing Online Platform (CLOP) ahead of the Friday, July 31, 2026 deadline.

The football governing body has made it clear that no extensions will be granted, warning that clubs that fail to meet the licensing requirements risk being excluded from the 2026/27 Ghana Premier League season.

The latest update from the GFA indicates that only seven clubs have fully completed and submitted their applications, while five clubs are still working on their submissions. Six others are yet to begin the process.

The GFA is urging all outstanding clubs to complete the required uploads immediately and ensure compliance before the deadline.

Among the clubs that have successfully completed the licensing process are Accra Hearts of Oak SC, Kumasi Asante Kotoko SC, Dreams FC, Medeama SC, FC Samartex 1996, All Blacks United FC, and Basake Holy Stars FC.

Five clubs currently have their applications in progress. They include Debibi United FC, Karela FC, Bechem United FC, Port City FC, and Vision FC.

However, six clubs are yet to commence their licensing applications. They are Aduana FC, Berekum Chelsea FC, Bibiani Gold Stars SC, Heart of Lions FC, FC Ashantigold, and Young Apostles FC.

The licensing process forms part of the GFA’s efforts to enforce club governance standards, financial accountability, infrastructure requirements and administrative compliance among clubs competing in Ghana’s top-flight league.

With the deadline fast approaching, clubs that have delayed their submissions now face a race against time to avoid possible sanctions that could affect their participation in the upcoming Premier League campaign.
