The Upper East Regional Secretariat of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has appointed 10 new officers to serve in various regional positions.
The appointments, contained in a statement dated August 29, 2026, were made by the elected regional executives pursuant to Articles 9(2) and 10 of the party’s constitution.
The newly appointed officers include Samuel Atiru as Regional Deputy Organiser, Anyass Abubakari as Regional Deputy Nasara Organiser and Ama Achumdai as Regional Deputy Women’s Organiser.
Patrick Acham has been appointed Regional Deputy Youth Organiser, while Francis Abolinga takes up the position of Regional Financial Secretary.
Francis Ayam has been appointed Regional Research Officer, with Kombat Isaac Tineayi named Regional PWD Coordinator.
Thomas Kwalase will serve as Regional Electoral Affairs Officer, while Lawyer Mohammed T. Nambe has been appointed Regional Legal Officer.
Mumuai Bsife has also been appointed Regional Special Duties Officer.
The appointees are drawn from various constituencies across the Upper East Region, including Navrongo Central, Bolga Central, Builsa North, Builsa South, Binduri, Bolga East, Tempane, Chiana-Paga and Bawku Central.
The Regional Secretariat said the appointments take immediate effect.
It congratulated the new officers and wished them success in their respective roles.
The appointments come as the party continues to strengthen its regional organisational structures through the deployment of officers to key portfolios.
